Lessons Learned on the Field
Because lessons learned on the athletic field carry over into every other aspect of student life, athletics is a proud tradition at Andrews Osborne Academy. With sports for every season and every ability, there is ample opportunity to learn self-reliance, confidence and the value of personal and group goals.
We recognize that athletics is an integral part in developing the complete student. Competing with private and public schools in Northeast Ohio, AOA athletes participate in individual and team sports, while our extensive athletic facilities make it possible to explore a variety of fitness opportunities and extracurricular options including equestrian, skiing, hiking and aerobics.
AOA’s zero-cut policy promotes participation and encourages students to be part of the team, and our coaches share the school’s commitment to the success of each child. They play a major role in the development of their athletes as they promote leadership skills, teamwork and sportsmanship – character building traits that serve our students forever.
